My Happenings the Last Few Months

WARNING: BIG POST!!!
This post is incredibly late! But the fact that I am doing this instead of studying for my finals speaks words about how burnt out I am and how much I have been up to lately, so please forgive me! Here are a few things I have been up to lately.

February 14, 2010
One of my best friends, Shelby, invited me to go visit some of her very extended family for a Valentine's Day weekend in southern Utah in a place called Gunlock! It was so warm and so much fun! We did a lot of hiking all around the red rock down there.

A bunch of friends and I decided that it would be fun to go on a group date to the local classic skate. Specifically we decided to go on Saturday night when they do disco skate.

The girls decided to go 80s instead of 70s but we still looked crazy and had fun. We went to the DI and helped the guys pick out their outfits before and one guy picked all women clothing for his 70s look. It turned out really authentic!

Me and two of my best friends went to the HOLI Festival of Colors. It is this Indian festival where a bunch of BYU college students (I'm sure there were some other people there but the majority was probably BYU students) go and pretend like we have a spring break. We throw colored chalk at each other and enjoy getting dirty!

They count down and we throw the chalk all at the same time and the chalk just creates a big massive cloud of color! It really is one of the coolest things! Here are just a few of my pictures from that day!

I had a nice big reunion with all my summer roommates. I made a slideshow of a bunch of pictures from summer/fall and we ate cookie dough and orange julius (total summer classics!) Then I gave the boys some books I made for them for their missions. They turned out pretty good! It was a great night and I'm really going to miss these guys this summer!!

Amongst all these activities I have changed my major to officially Visual Arts, grown up a lot, almost finished my first year of college, and have taken a TON of pictures along the way. Some may even make it into my portfolio. Here are some of them.

Well I really hope you survived this unbelievably long post. Normally I would split it up and make it more than one but if I don't get it all done now, it might never get done! So I hope you enjoyed looking as much as I enjoyed doing all of these things (that's probably not possible though)!
